Brazil’s annual GDP growth rate was 7.5% in 2010, much stronger than the 0.2% contraction posted in 2009. Brazil is the largest HVAC market in Latin America and the host of the 2014 FIFA World Cup and 2016 Olympic Games. There is growing demand for air conditioners at sports venues under construction.
