The continued high temperatures from early June have heated the air conditioner sales in Guangzhou in China. With temperatures frequently in excess of 30°C, household appliance manufacturers have used different promotional strategies to attract consumers, resulting in very few air conditioners being sold for less than RMB 1,500 (about US$ 230).
