Midea to Upgrade: Development Focusing on both Scale and Profitability

The operating revenue of Midea in the first half of 2011 reached RMB 62 billion (US$ 9.7 billion), 59% higher than that of the same period last year. The revenue from the air conditioner business exceeded its major competitor by almost RMB 5 billion (US$ 780 million).
