Emission Trading Scheme to be Carried Out in Chongqing and Six Other Cities

The General Office of the National Development and Reform Commission released a memorandum on the ‘Pilot Run Program of the Carbon Emission Trading Scheme’ and approved seven municipalities (Chongqing, Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Wuhan, Guangzhou and Shenzhen) to carry out the pilot scheme.
