Copper Products Trade Deficit Amounts to US$ 62.6 Billion

As calculated by the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, in 2011 China’s copper products trade value amounted to about US$ 74.6 billion, a 21% increase compared with 2010. The export value reached US$ 6 billion with import value at US$ 68.6 billion meaning a trade deficit of US$ 62.6 billion.
