China's Appliance Stimulus Program Drives Sales of $116 Billion in Three Years

China's stimulus program to boost appliance sales in rural regions helped increase 2012 unit sales by 22.6%, to 79,913 million units, according to data released by China's Ministry of Commerce. The stimulus program has been in-place since February 2009.
