Refrigeration Industry to Get Parliament’s Approval of FDI in Retail

In early December, the Government won the majority vote in Parliament defeating opposition to permitting foreign supermarket chains, such as Walmart and Tesco to establish their presence in the country with a control over the majority of the total foreign direct investment (FDI) required.
