China’s Green Building Ratio Aiming to Reach 20%

The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) revealed recently that China would enforce effective energy conservation measures on new buildings in order to reach the goal of completing 1 billion m2 of green buildings during the 12th Five-year Plan, and realize the target of having 20% of the new building in cities and towns being green buildings by 2015.
