The share of window units in the Indian air conditioner market showed a downturn from 30% in 2010 to 20% in 2012, reflecting the suspension of or decreases in production of window air conditioners by Indian manufacturers. The share of domestically manufactured Voltas increased to 18% in February 2013 from 17.5% in March 2011.
