Government to Take Lead in Selecting Green Buildings in 2014

According to the 12th Five-year Green Building Development Plan released by the Ministry of Housing and Urban- Rural Development (MOHURD), green building standards will be enforced in 2014 on public and residential estate invested by the government, as well as all public facilities with construction area of more than 20,000 m2, such as airports, railway stations, hotels, restaurants, shopping malls and office buildings.
