Room Humidity and Health

Experiments by NIOSH, the U.S. national institute for safety and health at work, reports tests on the role of humidity in room air in controlling the spread of disease. Flu viruses were introduced intermittently into a test room using an aerosol generator which reproduced the act of coughing.
