Price of Refrigerant Remains Low with Oversupply of R410A

Juhua Group, China’s refrigerant market leader, released the preliminary announcement of business performance in 2012, which predicted a 60% year-on-year reduction of net profit for shareholders due to the falling refrigerant prices. Almost all leading refrigerant suppliers in China, including Juhua, Dongyue, Meilan, Sinochem Taicang, Sinochem Lantian, Yueon, and Zhongwei, expanded their production capacities of refrigerants such as R410A, R32 and R134a in 2011. However, the market demand declined in the latter half of 2011, and fell to the bottom in 2012.
