White Goods Shipments Show Robust Growth for 5 Consecutive Months

According to a report published by the Japan Electrical Manufacturers’ Association (JEMA), domestic shipments of household electrical appliances in October 2013 accounted for \153.1 billion (about US$ 1.5 billion), up 6.8% over the same month of the previous year, to attain positive growth for five consecutive months.
