Writing in ACR News (the United Kingdom), Dr. Stuart Corr of Mexichem Fluor thinks that the increasing emphasis on low global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants in the F-gas regulations will inevitably drive the ACR industry towards refrigerants such as R32, R1234yf and 1234ze which are classified as flammable in the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) 2L category.
