Malaysia’s chiller market increased to US$ 68.4 million in 2014 from US$ 61.8 million in 2013, recording 10.8% year-on-year growth thanks to a 43.4% increase in the combined segment of reciprocating, screw, and scroll chillers. However, both the centrifugal chiller and absorption chiller (over 350 kW) segments decreased by about 15%, falling to US$ 27.5 million and US$ 1.5 million, respectively.
