Singapore to Raise RAC Energy Efficiency Standards in September 2016

Singapore’s National Environment Agency made the announcement on October 20, 2015, to raise the Minimum Energy Performance Standards (MEPS) of residential air conditioners. Effective September 1, 2016, the new standard will mandate imported air conditioners shall bear at least two ‘checks’ in their energy efficiency tags.
