Toshiba Completes Delivery of World’s largest Lithium-ion Battery Energy Storage System in Operation

Toshiba Corporation (Tokyo:6502) today announced that a battery energy storage system (BESS) the company has supplied to Tohoku Electric Power Company today started operation as scheduled. The40MW-40MWh lithium-ion BESS is one of the largest BESS in the world.
