Panasonic to Increase Automotive Lithium-ion Battery Production in Japan

Panasonic Corporation today announced that it has decided to start production of automotive lithium-ion batteries at a factory in Himeji, Hyogo Prefecture, expanding domestic production amid increasing demand for such batteries.
