Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (TOKYO: 6503) announced today that it has begun mass-producing the auto industry's first crankshaft-mounted integrated starter-generator (ISG) system for 48V hybrid vehicles, which will be mounted in Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
