Australia Funds Demand Response Program to Secure Grid Stability

On October 11, the Australia’s Turnbull Government announced that through the Australian Renewable Energy Agency, it is providing Australian dollar 28.6 million funding for a new trial with the Australian Energy Market Operator which will deliver 200 MW of capacity to help secure the electricity grid during times of peak demand.
