Heating Accounts for 40% of Electricity Demand in Beijing this Winter

With increasing electricity use spurred by China’s Coal-to-Electricity policy, it is forecast that the load on the power grid in Beijing will hit 18.6 million kW this winter, increasing by 10.6% year on year, of which the heating load accounted for nearly 40%.
