IIR Considers Energy Consumption as Main Issue

The International Energy Agency (IEA) recently published a report dedicated to air conditioning which was reviewed by the International Institute of Refrigeration (IIR). The report clearly shows a dramatic increase in air conditioning needs and indicates that energy consumption linked to air conditioning could triple by 2050. Similar figures could also be presented concerning refrigeration for food and health products in developing countries.
