Carrier Transicold Europe Selects Chemours Opteon™ XL Refrigerant Family to Replace R-452A

Chemours, a global chemistry company with leading market positions in fluoroproducts, announced today that Carrier Transicold Europe, located in Rueil-Malmaison, France, is collaborating with Chemours to specify and adopt an Opteon™ XL low global warming potential (GWP) hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) refrigerant to replace R-452A in transport refrigeration in 2021.
