Record 25-ton Seizure of HFC Refrigerants in Poland

Polish authorities have seized almost 25 tons of illegal hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants. Believed to be the largest seizure of its kind in Europe, the 24,459-kg shipment from Ukraine included cylinders of R134a, R404A, and R410A and is estimated to be worth about €600,000 (US$ 672,000).
