Japanese RAC Market Achieves Record High Sales in January – May

According to Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association (JRAIA) statistics, shipments of room air conditioners (RACs) during the period spanning January to May of this year reached 3.91 million units, recording an all-time high. Sales growth in April and May stood out with spectacular 21.8% and 19.7% growth respectively compared with the same months last year.
