Mitsubishi Electric Adopts R463A Refrigerant for Low-temp Applications

Mitsubishi Electric exhibited its condensing unit using R463A, a new refrigerant developed by Chemours, at Fooma Japan 2019 held at the Tokyo Big Sight from July 9 to 12, announcing its forthcoming refrigerant policy. R463A, available from Chemours as Opteon XP41, is a blend of five refrigerants – R32, R125, R134a, R1234yf, and R744 (CO2) – and is a high-energy-density type of refrigerant just like R410A.
