UNIDO successfully completed project to advance green industrial production and sustainable trade for mechanical and electrical equipment manufacturers in Fujian, China

International trade is increasingly governed and steered by green and sustainable standards as well as by government, business, and consumer requirements. With funding from the China International Centre for Economic and Technical Exchanges (CICETE) and in-kind contribution from the Fujian Provincial Government, the project “Assistance to enterprises in Fujian Province to meet greener product standards for mechanical and electrical equipment (MEE)” sought to improve the green production capacity of local MEE enterprises, and supported them in complying with their clients’ environmental, energy and occupational health and safety requirements.
