GMIS discusses the future of manufacturing in the SADC Region

Around 200 participants attended Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit (GMIS) Connect Southern Africa, a regional discussion forum with the theme: “Advancing industrialization in Southern Africa: think globally, act locally- the impact of digital industrial transformation in Southern Africa”. The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) co-organized the event in association with a number of counterparts, including the GMIS Organizing Committee, the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) and the National Cleaner Production Centre, South Africa (NCPC-SA), and in partnership with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ).
