Chemours Suspends Supply of High-GWP R404A and R507A in EU

Chemours suspended supply of high global warming potential (GWP) refrigerants R404A (GWP of 3,922) and R507A (GWP of 3,985) in the European Union (EU) as of January 1, 2020, to support the market transition driven by the EU F-gas Regulation to lower GWP alternatives and prepare for the next quota phasedown in 2021.
