EU Actions on Ecodesign and Energy Labelling

In its recently issued special report, the European Court of Auditors (ECA) acknowledged that EU Ecodesign and Energy labels are improving energy efficiency. The ECA report concludes that EU Ecodesign and Energy Labelling policy has fulfilled its primary objective of reducing the energy consumption of household and industrial products whilst improving consumer awareness.
