HVAC&R Industry Seeking Post-pandemic Opportunities

April is the start of the air conditioner sales season in the Northern Hemisphere, and prior to this, many exhibitions and other events related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) are staged. However, this year, these major international exhibitions were canceled or postponed because of the novel coronavirus epidemic, bringing an unusually quiet start to the season. The novel coronavirus has spread throughout the world, shifting its focal point from China to Europe and the United States, and also to Southeast Asia and the Southern Hemisphere. Along with the spread, many cities and countries are locked down and some HVAC&R manufacturers have been forced to close their outlets, factories, and headquarters.
