1. Epta Presents Storevolution with Its Six Brands of Refrigeration Products
At EuroShop 2020 held in February in Germany, JARN visited Epta’s booth and was welcomed by William Pagani, group marketing director, who explained the company’s displayed products and technologies. Based in Milan, Italy, the Epta Group offers a wide range of systems and technologies for commercial refrigeration under six brands: Costan, Bonnet Névé, Eurocryor, Misa, Iarp, and Kysor Warren. Under the concept of ‘Storevolution’, a combination term of the store revolution/evolution that is underway in the retail world, Epta showcased its brands’ products in the 10 areas of its booth, each with a specific theme.

2. ARBS Rescheduled for February 2021
ARBS Exhibitions has announced that ARBS 2021 will be held February 15 to 17, 2021 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Australia. The exhibition will remain at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, and will occupy the same space, the same floor plan, and the same itinerary as was proposed for ARBS 2020. The event will host over 300 exhibitors, a renowned industry awards program, and a comprehensive seminar presentation series.

3. Carrier Becomes Independent, Publicly Traded Company
Carrier debuted as an independent, publicly traded company after successfully completing its separation from United Technologies. Shares of Carrier will began ‘regular-way’ trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on April 3, 2020 under the symbol ‘CARR.

4. Hisense Hitachi Releases Full Life-cycle VRF Purifying Solution
On March 14, Qingdao Hisense Hitachi released full life-cycle purification solutions for variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems via a major Chinese on-line sales site, T-mall live. The solutions consist of a new indoor unit adopting a smart self-cleaning function for both the inside and the outside of the unit, a sterilization function using steam at a temperature of 145℃, and 360 degree no-dead-angle cleaning of the heat exchanger, fan, etc.

5. AGC’s AMOLEA Adopted in Centrifugal Chiller Installed at National Stadium
AGC together with Ebara Refrigeration Equipment and Systems delivered the RTBA model low-GWP high-efficiency centrifugal chiller, which uses the new, environmentally friendly refrigerant AMOLEA 1224yd produced by AGC, for air conditioning at the Japan National Stadium. Ebara Refrigeration Equipment and Systems developed this chiller which uses AGC’s new refrigerant, promoting its installation in various types of facilities including commercial and lodging facilities as well as chemical plants starting in 2018.
