Honeywell Places Importance on Safety of Refrigerants

At AHR Expo held in Orlando, the United States, at the beginning of February 2020, JARN visited Honeywell’s booth and interviewed Chris LaPietra, vice president and general manager, Honeywell Stationary Refrigerants, to hear about the company’s strategy regarding the Solstice series refrigerants. At the exhibition, Honeywell showcased next-generation refrigerants for residential and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC&R) applications such as Solstice yf, Solstice zd, and Solstice ze, which have significantly contributed to global CO2 emissions, achieving a reduction of 150 million metric tons so far.
