Economic growth in the Middle East and North Africa has slowed since the beginning of 2019. The decline in oil production resulted in a significant decrease in growth of GDP in oil-exporting countries. But dependence on HVAC is also a major concern across the region in the context of rising energy consumption due to growing populations and greater industrial demand. To counter this trend, local governments are putting more eco-conscious energy management policies in place with a view to ensuring greater sustainability in the long term.
