AHRI Submits Comments on Draft Efficiency Standards for ACs

On June 19, the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) submitted comments to the Superintendencia de Electricidad y Combustibles (SEC) in Chile on its draft protocol of energy efficiency for split and packaged air conditioners up to 42,000 BTU/h. AHRI recommended that the Protocol include a reference to AHRI Testing and Rating Standard 210/240-2017, Performance Rating of Unitary Air Conditioning & Air-Source Heat Pump Equipment.
