Lidl Begins Operations at New £70 Million Distributon Center in UK

Lidl GB, an UK supermarket chain, started operations at its new £70 million (US$ 91 million) regional distribution center in Peterborough on August 1, 2020, employing 400 people with plans to recruit a further 50 this year. The new center forms part of Lidl’s commitment to invest £1.45 billion (US$ 1.9 billion) in the United Kingdom across 2019 and 2020.
