Green Climate Fund approves UNIDO's accreditation application

26 August 2020 - The Green Climate Fund (GCF) is the world’s largest dedicated fund helping developing countries reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and enhance their ability to respond to climate change. The recently concluded GCF Board meeting - held virtually for the first time - has approved the application by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) to become an Accredited Entity, allowing the organization access to funding for projects.
