MHI R&D High Tower for Commercial ACs Completed in Qingdao

On August 28, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) Research and Development (R&D) High Tower was completed at Qingdao Mitsubishi Heavy-Haier’s new factory, and a grand ribbon cutting ceremony was organized. This event demonstrated that Mitsubishi Heavy-Haier has become not only MHI’s largest commercial air conditioner production base worldwide, but also its largest commercial air conditioner R&D base. MHI has completed the setting up its global R&D structure for commercial air conditioners, with Nagoya in Japan and Qingdao in China as core technology research and transformation centers.
