UK £2 Billion New Grant Is Designed to Boost Heat Pump Demand

In August 2020, the UK government announced a Green Homes Grant which will give homeowners in England vouchers worth up to £2 billion (US$ 2.6 billion) in total, to implement one or more green cooling and heating measures including air-source heat pumps (ASHPs) in existing properties during the planned period spanning September 30, 2020 to March 31, 2021.
