Midea Builds Residential Central AC Production Line in Wuhan

On November 5, 2020, Midea Group signed an investment agreement with the management committee of the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, to invest RMB 800 million (US$ 121 million) in the construction of a residential central air conditioner production line, which will begin operation in 2021 with an expected output value of RMB 10 billion to 12 billion (US$ 1.5 billion to 1.8 billion).
