MHI-AC&R Develops DX AHUs Called Direct X Comfort

In October 2020, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration (MHI-AC&R) placed on the market a new type of direct expansion (DX) air handling units (AHUs) called Direct X Comfort (model designation: TUC-FLXC). As an AHU that can be used in all seasons thanks to its humidity control function, the Direct X Comfort model has realized energy-saving operation by making effective use of exhaust heat, not only when humidifying during heating operation, but also when dehumidifying during cooling operation by adopting the reheat dehumidification method.
