New Year’s Resolutions from Global Association Leaders - EPEE

Let me wish you, on behalf of the entire EPEE team and our members, a happy and, above all, a healthy new year!

Last year, I wrote that ‘2020 will see the pace further accelerate, and we expect it to be a milestone year’. Well, it certainly was a milestone year, but not in the sense we expect ed! COVID-19 has hit the economy very hard. The European Commission has launched a recovery and resilience facility providing an unprecedented amount of €672.5 billion (US$ 812 billion) of loans and grants to EU governments to emerge stronger from the crisis. The encouraging news is that our industry has proven to be very resilient demonstrating how essential it is for society. With vaccines requiring temperatures below –70℃ and IAQ being considered a top priority, this will be even more the case in the future.
