HFC Alternative Refrigerants Update - Examples of New Refrigerant Technology Development

Following is a list of examples of new refrigerant development and application in equipment that have been announced at symposiums and seminars in recent years.
R463A: Alternative to R410A (R404A); applied in condensing units; A1 classification; GWP = 1,494. Has properties similar to R410A and is energy efficient and economical. (Chemours’ XP41) Mitsubishi Electric has developed a condensing unit that uses R463A.
