1. Panasonic Realizes 24-hour nanoe X Air Purification in Australian Homes
Panasonic is sequentially expanding the lineups of air conditioners in Australia equipped with nanoe X Generator Mark 2, such as the adaptive ducted, wall-mounted, and under-ceiling types of PACs as well as 4-way cassette variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, which are being released also in Europe and other regions. With these new lineups, Panasonic offers a range of choices according to the living space of the residents to supply safer and more secure indoor air quality (IAQ).

2. ebm-papst Starting New Construction Projects in Mulfingen
Forward-looking and full of optimism, ebm-papst is getting ready for post-Corona times. At their headquarters in Mulfingen, Germany, ebm-papst is investing almost €20 million (US$ 24 million) in three new buildings. As always with ebm-papst, local companies will be responsible for the construction work and high eco-standards will be observed. Thomas Wagner, designated CEO, added: “This investment is a sign for a new beginning and future growth. Investing like this, we want to further boost our leadership position on the global market.”

3. Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning Launches Set Free Mini AC Systems
Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning India introduced its Set Free Mini variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system to suit modern lifestyles. It is a unique product, designed globally but keeping India’s climatic conditions in mind. It has expandable features designed for premium homes and modern commercial spaces. The outdoor units range from 3 to 7 hp so as to meet a wide range of air conditioning needs from a two- to five-bedroom home.

4. World Compressor Market 2020, CHINA - Expanding Production Capacity
More than 90% of the world’s rotary compressors are produced in China. Almost all global rotary compressor manufacturers have production bases in China. Although rotary compressor production capacity in China has reached a saturation level, there are still some companies that are expanding their production, focusing on inverter models. In June 2020, Mianyang Highly started its new inverter air conditioning compressor plant with an annual production capacity of 1.5 million units. GMCC continues to expand the production capacity of its rotary compressors, and currently has an annual production capacity of 100 million units.
