1. Focus on Carbon Neutrality & Healthy World - Report on CR 2021, Shanghai, China
China Refrigeration 2021(CR 2021) was held from April 7 to 9, at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. As a face-to-face exhibition held after a long break in the context of COVID-19 pandemic, CR 2021 attracted more than 1,200 exhibitors, including well-known brands in the global HVAC&R industry, and more visitors than expected flocked to the event. From the exhibits and side-events of this year’s expo, two keywords, carbon neutrality and human health, clearly emerged. 5. Musings on HVAC&R- Air Conditioning from the Perspective of Housing
Air conditioning in today’s eco-friendly houses mainly adopts air conditioners sold in the market. Considering air conditioning for eco-friendly houses such as passive houses in the future, the types of
hardware and software that should be provided is an important theme, and research and development are required. It is desirable to create a more comfortable and energy-saving system by linking not only air conditioners but also ventilation fans, electric fans, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, water heaters, and solar heat utilization for power generation and hot water supply. It is also important to make sure that the price is not too high.
