Children’s Charity Oakland Foundation to Support Leicestershire Children’s Summer Camp

A summer holiday programme for children in the Coalville, Ibstock, Measham and Castle Donnington areas has secured funding via children’s charity the Oakland Foundation.
 
The summer holiday programme, organised by North West Leicestershire District Council’s Health and Wellbeing team, aims to encourage more children to get involved in sport through local sports clubs and to promote a healthier lifestyle and the advantages of being more active, with the funding providing healthy lunches for all children attending.
