Daikin Sets up Integrated Production Center within its Kashima Plant

Daikin has set up an Integrated Production Center (IPC) within its Kashima Plant in Kamisu City, Ibaraki Prefecture, where fluorinated chemical products are manufactured. With a view to improving the quality and productivity, personnel, organization, and information that are involved in the operation, equipment, and production management of the plant at Kashima Plant are all to be integrated. Daikin is accumulating know-how on integration by using Kashima Plant as a high-efficiency, mass production-type model factory, and this approach will provide accumulated know-how in the future to the Daikin Group’s fluorinated chemical products production bases across the globe.
