Home Appliance Products Accounted for 38% of China’s Exports

According to the China Household Electrical Appliances Association (CHEAA), China’s home appliances industry saw total revenues up to RMB 1.4811 trillion (about US$ 228.50 billion) in 2020, with total profits of RMB 115.7 billion (about US$ 17.85 billion). Air conditioners in China saw a total production volume of 150 million units in 2020, and refrigerators saw total production volume of 81 million units. Moreover, China’s home appliance industry has developed a complete industry chain, achieving technology breakthrough on core components.
