Leicestershire Schools to Benefit from Afterschool Children’s Club Funding

Children at three primary schools in Leicestershire are to benefit from a new afterschool club initiative starting this September.
 
Heather Primary in Coalville, St Denys Primary in Ibstock and Ellistown Primary will all take part thanks to ME Sports in the Community CIC securing funding from children’s charity Oakland Foundation. Over a period of 6-weeks children and their families will engage and learn more about the advantages of taking part in sports and the impact nutritious food has on overall health and wellbeing.
