Chemours Places Sustainability at the Center of its Corporate Strategy

The Chemours Company ("Chemours") (NYSE: CC), a global chemistry company with leading market positions in Titanium Technologies, Thermal & Specialized Solutions, Advanced Performance Materials, and Chemical Solutions, today announces that Jonathan Lock has been appointed to lead the company's sustainability efforts and will become a Section 16 officer effective November 8, 2021. As Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer, Jonathan will continue to lead Chemours' M&A, Corporate Strategy, and Investor Relations functions, while also assuming responsibility for sustainability. Sheryl Telford, Chemours' Chief Sustainability Officer will report directly to Jonathan.
